AASA Race Series livestream package announced
The Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA) has opted for a change of broadcast for the AASA Race Series commencing next weekend at Queensland Raceway.
The Fight in the Night Powered by Enthusiast Insurance is Round 4 of the AASA Race Series and for the first time it will be solely livestreamed, with more races covered than ever before.
The new look broadcast will feature preview shows, features, interviews and non-stop racing coverage. While many of the on-air faces and voices remain the same, there will be many new additions.
Starting next weekend, the AASA Race Series will be streamed live and free.
They will cover more action of a AASA Race Series event than ever, with three days of content, totalling over 17 hours of coverage over the three-day event.
Friday will see a brand-new one-hour long preview show air for the first time. The show will take place trackside on Friday evening and contain driver interviews ahead of a huge weekend of racing.
Saturday morning’s preview program will get you up to date on all the action that has occurred to that point, and look ahead to the racing that will be broadcast from Saturday afternoon through until the end of Sunday’s coverage.
All the action will be streamed on the AASA Race Series website and YouTube channel, from 1:25pm – 9:30pm AEST on Saturday, and 9:30am – 4:30pm on Sunday.
Many of the TV talent remains the same, one of Supercars leading callers Matt Naulty will continue to call the action in the TA2 Muscle Car Series alongside Trans Am Series race winner and reigning TA2 champion Jarrod Hughes.
Dan McCarthy will continue his role as the support category commentator as well as co-host.
Melinda Price will remain as pit lane reporter, but also venture into the commentary box alongside McCarthy.
Guest commentators and pit lane reporters include, TFH Hire Legend Cars Australia experts Jai Eccles and Matt Totani, Trans Am racer Edan Thornburrow, well-known national racing competitor Luke King and Rhianna Buchanan.
